New Year
Drum Circle
Objectives
Many people set intentions or resolutions to help them bring about changes they want to see, or at least "try on." In this drum circle, we will practice deep listening to hear what we want in the new year. We will then express our intentions, resolutions, or other important messages to the group, and reflect them back to support and affirm each other.
Example Sequence
Arrange into a circle.
Disseminate drums.
Say "hello, drum" and get to know the different sounds you can make with your drum.
Thank your drum, thank each other, and pack up.
